If you've some time (!) since the kids are out of school, here's a neat and quick activity - sending e-cards for New Year's Day!
January 1 is also a special day (solemnity) for MARY, MOTHER OF GOD... so why not send one of her cards? Click here for Catholic E-Greetings.
There's a plethora of images to choose from. Why not review each with your children, talking about which image they like best? For each image, you could also ask them to describe Mary in one or two words. For older children, you could even ask them to compare the different images- do they give us a different idea of what Mary was like?
To send a card from the Catholic E-Greetings site requires FREE registration. (There is a premium option of course.) Or you can just enjoy the images and the discussion with your kids!
